She by Randi Antonsen

She

In this snippet of Randi Antonsen’s work, we recognize the elements of her artistic vocabulary that compose her unique style: intricate line work, the presence of geometric patterns, the painterly, crude at times brush stroke. At first glance we perceive these pieces as abstract renderings of color forms. It takes a second look to learn these are actually carefully crafted realities, or rather…surrealities, that undeniably describe emotional and intellectual landscapes. It seems that her paintings are mare formality to depict what is already there – that’s how you distinguish authentic from fake, original from borrowed. Her work is in the forefront of today’s contemporary trends and is most likely to remain there as long as she paints. Awesome.___u4ma
