Hector is hunting again
Hector is hunting for food again
I meet Hector for the first time a rainy afternoon in a bed of flowers outside the cinema.
He looked like he was asleep, however..he was dead. He had hit a power line during his chase for food in the town.
I brought him back home and put him in the freezer, and kept him there for a year or so. I forgot all about him, until one day I saw him laying there. I took him to a taxonomist and he made him fly again.
I decided to make this homage to Hector by making this little story about him and our consumer's behavior.
Hector is a Sparrow hawk, and these birds were preserved in Norway until some years ago, until they got too many and started hunting in the towns.
